We raised £103.23 thanks to donations from the local commuity of hungry cake muchers and coffee slurpers!
If you couldn't make it to the coffee morning in person, you can donate at the Macmillan Cancer Support website.
The charity does so much amazing work to assist people living with cancer, including taking some of the strain off the shoulders of family members and carers. Macmillan helps those with cancer by providing physical, financial and emotional support, which, when combined, go a long way to helping those with a cancer diagnosis live life as fully as possible.
A Macmillan Coffee Morning is a fundraising initiative which gives communities across the UK the chance to band together to raise money, for those living with cancer.
We think Macmillan do incredible work to help people with this life-changing illness. For our part, we delivered a Coffee Morning filled with an array of home-baked cakes and goodies with haus’ signature coffee, to complement the sugary treats (our clients love popping in for a coffee), and not forgetting a spot of English tea.
Macmillan Coffee Mornings have been held annually since 1990 and since then the initiative has raised over £200 million for the indispensable work the charity carries out.
We decided to hold the event in our Fulham office, as anyone who know us knows that Fulham is a place near and dear to our hearts. And true to form, we can’t help but say a few words about this beautiful part of London.
After the coffee and cake many of our coffee mornig attendees decided to take a stroll through the streets of Fulham, why wouldn't you want to take a walk around our leafy and peaceful borough? The Fulham area is one of the city’s most elegant and chic places, and our guests managed to catch the last of the autumn sun as they soaked in the delights of Fulham.
Fulham is known for its plentiful green spots, with parks including South Park and Eel Brook Common. These are just a few of the many parks dotted around the streets, plus there are plenty of charming Thames-side walks. So, if you're considering Fulham as a potential area to set up home, come and talk to us, we've got plenty to say about our special area over a nice cup of coffee.
Connect with us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, where we’ll let you know about any future Coffee Mornings or fundraising event. This includes ourMarie Curie Tea Party, where we raised over £100 for the charity, which in turn collects funds to support those living with terminal illnesses. Donate to Marie Curie on their website.
