Comment on Earls Court redevelopment
From Jamie Lester, Head of Haus Properties
Jamie Lester, Head of Haus Properties, comments: “Transport for London has announced its plans to demolish the Earls Court exhibition centre as part of the controversial redevelopment of the area, which marks a huge step in changing the face of West London.
“The new development of 8,000+ homes and amenities will go a long way towards solving London’s desperate need for new homes. It will also help to regenerate the zone 1 & 2 area with slightly more affordable homes, which can only benefit the local community in the long term. The only negative is the 20 year build time and the amount of disruption this may cause local residents, however developments such as this are inevitable in order to support the rapid growth of the city.”
