Historic Fulham landmark transformed into luxurious new apartments
Haus Properties is currently marketing Billing Spring House, a development of prestigious apartments in a landmark 19th century building in the sought after Fulham area, south west London.
Billing Spring House is a development of nine elegant one bedroom apartments by Ignis Developments, which incorporates the best of contemporary design whilst retaining the property’s original architectural grandeur.
Built circa 1850s, Billing Spring House takes its name from the creek that formed the boundaries between the Kensington and Fulham Parishes. Behind the property’s Regency façade, each apartment has a unique layout comprising a kitchen, open plan living space, bedroom and bathroom. Six out of the nine apartments also benefit from outside space or balconies. All benefit from luxury specification including hand built English kitchens and state of the art integrated Bosch appliances. The elegant bathrooms are fitted with Italian No-Code sanitary ware and Eauzone fittings surrounded by Italian marble.
Jamie Lester, Head of Haus Properties, comments: “There has been a strong demand for one bed apartments here, and four have already sold. Billing Spring House is an exceptional development that offers buyers a unique property with an incredibly high specification in one of the best locations in Fulham – it ticks all the boxes.”
David Corley, from David Corley Architects, who designed Billing Spring House, adds: “Billing Spring House is an important reminder of the historic residential character of old Fulham and is recognised locally for the contribution it makes to its surroundings. Our purpose has been to retain the architectural character of the building, both externally and internally, while providing practical and comfortable apartments. There are few locations that can provide such easy access to transport and a wide range of shops, restaurants, an old street market, entertainment, and social activities.”
Billing Spring House is situated within easy reach of local amenities and the wider area of West London. It is walking distance to Fulham Broadway which plays host to a diverse selection of bars, restaurants, parks and shopping, with transport links to every part of London in easy reach.
The apartments vary from approximately 286 sq ft to 463 sq ft with prices ranging from £300,000 to £440,000.
