Fulham has long been a hit with French residents looking to invest in the London property market, but as of early 2014, there’s now a particularly exciting draw for Fulham’s more petit French residents…
Le Petit Conservatoire is a 100% French-speaking after-school group based on the Wandsworth Bridge Road which provides workshops in French for children aged 3-10. It’s the genius invention of three French friends and experienced childcare professionals who strongly believe in children learning languages through songs, arts, stories and activities.
Caroline David, Constance David and Mathilde Treilhaud found that the only classes in the area which were taught by native French speakers were very academic. They realized they were often entertaining their own children at home with fun French activities which they jokingly called their little conservatoire… and voila! Le Petit Conservatoire was born!
Not only is this awesome fun for children, but the group works with local French schools to provide a pick-up after school service to help parents free up some time in the week too.
Caroline, Mathilde and Constance are proof that if you want something doing well, you might just be the best person for the job! Kids and parents of Fulham alike love their easygoing, fun approach where learning a language becomes second nature. Bravo ladies!
