The festival took place around the heart of Chiswick in ten venues, as one of the biggest local celebrations of the year! From Midday to 2am, an epic 14 hours of music spanning from Disco, Indie, Rock 'n' Roll, Acoustic, Jazz, Soul and much more!
Local musicians and ordinary people joined forces with the aim of making a difference to the world. This huge campaign raised money for the Oxfam Charity in aid to help unprivileged children and families in poverty.
Not only we donated to help the cause, we put our creative skills to the test! As part of the seasonal harvest celebrations, Christ Church and Oxjam teamed up to create a stunning mural covering the church during its stone work restoration.
Haus's imaginative team painted an incredible autumn inspired piece in the theme of the harvest season upon us. We also donated another £2,750 to paint the town red and promote the national music festival Oxjam to raise money for the charity.
We invited everybody to get involved and support the cause, but also have a great deal of fun doing so! Oxjam’s amazing headline acts revealed Chiswick’s musical side, with acts such as the ‘’Counterfeit Stones’’ and Chsiwick’s very own resident ‘’Bruce Dickinson’’ (Iron Maiden superstar) launching the festival.
We even launched a lucky sweepstake re-tweet competition on twitter, welcoming anyone to enter and get the chance to win two tickets to the festival.
We would like to thank everybody who supported the cause with their talent and donations! It was truly a special day for Chiswick and music.
See you soon haus mates!
