What a fantastic day full of delicious local foods, arts & crafts stalls, singing from the William Hogarth School Choir, and exciting raffles. Hosting the fair was the very special guest Mary Nightingale, English newsreader and television presenter best known for her roles within ITV.
Haus was thrilled to present the mighty “Grow Your Own Cress Head” competition, where the children had a fun opportunity to harvest their own crops in a creative way. Jamie Lester launched the competition in local schools prior to the event, with an amazing turnout!
Creativity at its best, the children’s epic designs made it a tough judge. Entries ranged from big to small, eggs to footballs and pumpkins to potatoes! The winners announced posed for us down the hausmates red carpet with their awarded fine artist kits… check out our selection of winning designs!
We were chuffed to help raise just over £900 for St. Nicholas Church, and we would like to thank everyone who made the day so special.
See you soon hausmates!
