Lady Margaret School Enterprise Scheme!
The Lady Margaret School Enterprise Scheme is back!
Our Head of Haus and Apprentice star, Jamie Lester, is leading the competition for the third year in a row. He's playing judge and mentor to Year Nine students as they pitch product ideas to him in an Apprentice style entrepreneurship contest!
The winning team will snag themselves a real budget to produce, brand and sell their product at the school’s Christmas Fair – pretty cool eh! They’ll be expected to organise a cool launch event for their winning project and create merchandise to promote it, like T shirts, flyers and posters. Last year, the winners repurposed used crisp wrappers into funky make-up bags, showing some inspiring creativity and entreprenurial spirit.
This is an awesome scheme which encourages entrepreneurism in young adults and gets them thinking about how they can apply their skills and knowledge outside of the classroom. We're all about thinking off the beaten track at Haus so we love supporting this scheme! Who knows, this year we could have the next Jamie Lester on our hands…
GO ON GIRLS!
