Exciting new redevelopment by the Fulham riverside
By Jamie Lester, Head of Haus Properties

The recent announcement of the Hurlingham Retail Park being developed into a mixture of retail and residential property is another bit of great news for SW6. This shot in the arm will no doubt continue the momentum to transform the riverside area of Fulham into an aspirational area in which to live.

The redevelopment of Hurlingham Retail Park will create 242 new homes, plus new retail and restaurant space, that has been given the go ahead by Hammersmith and Fulham Council.

We hear of a shortage of property within London, but now Fulham is offering thousands of new homes at developments such as Fulham Reach, Fulham Riverside, Imperial Wharf, Chelsea Creek amongst others. The only advice I would give to potential investors is to keep an eye on their investment as well as their rental yield as the increase in supply could affect this.

Not only that, the scheme is heard to have two new public open spaces with the upgrade of the Thames Path for pedestrians and cyclists. The plan includes children’s play areas and parking spaces for 213 cars and 556 cycles.
